#THE SIMS 3 MASTER CONTROLLER MOD MODS#
I'm no where near figuring out mods and such.

I just now purchased Pets, Generations and Seasons.I got Sims3 a month ago and have been addicted. Still, I made a neat dollhouse, and that was my objective, so I declared that a successful house. I'd managed to stuff so many new objects into the game that it was basically incapable of running at all. I thought it crashed, but no, a few minutes after I'd paused it, the characters had teleported across the house, and a game hour had passed. When I unpaused the game to have the family actually move in - all the art was $1, but I have no compunction about cheating to get all the money to make a new family have the exact house I want because why grind when the fun is the customization, anyway?! - the game basically just hung for 10 minutes. I went through websites of art galleries and downloaded images to turn into in-game art pieces, reading up on the different artists as I went. I BARELY managed to restrain myself to leaving a few tiles of wall in a fairly large house actually NOT covered by artwork. I decided to make an "art gallery" family home, with each room of the house having distinct periods of art history or artistic motifs, so the father was Impressionist, while the mother preferred Romantic, and the teen daughter had New Age stuff with unicorns and blacklight poster type stuff. I have yet to "finish" an Elder Scrolls game, because who cares about the plot in one of those things, but I probably spent 2000 hours modding Oblivion, and 500 for Skyrim.)īTW, when playing Sims 1, I found a tool that let you turn images into art pieces you could put into the game. Wait for your game to become available by playing the REAL gameplay hook of The Sims: browsing the modding sites and modding the CRAP out of the game. (And for that matter, there's a bunch of things where people who didn't like Sims 4 backported content from Sims 4 like toys for children.) Well, I haven't played The Sims since The Sims 2, so I've been tuned out for about 15 years, but there's approximately 2.7 bajillion different small mods (clothes or hairstyles or pre-built houses, mostly) for this game, so that even if most modders moved onto Sims 4, you will hardly ever run out of content.

There iseven a logo replacer that swaps out "Ambitions'' Ghost Hunter logo for teh official Ghostbusters one too.Īnother custom content I love are the "ventilation" series pack over at TSR (thesimsresource) that gives you decorative (non-functional) temperature control items like an airconditioner, a stand fan and several air vents that add more realism to the game.Īnd lastitem I absolutely love is the "Pee Here" mod found over at simlogical which allows your male SIMs to literally pee any where you want without the SIM feeling awkward about doing number one behind the bushes :D You see back in The SIMs 2, you could create hybrids in vanilla (unmodded TS2) however the feature was not implemented in TS3, but with Master Controller installed you can create your Vampire Witch PlantSIM SIM albeit you can't package your hybrid abomination for sharing as doing so will cancel the process.Īnother favorite of mine are the various "Ghostbusters" Ecto-1 and Ghostbusters' Firehouse HQ lot you can find over at modthesims. Another cool thing Master Controller lets you do is create hybrid creature SIMs if you have "Supernatural".

For one thing, it lets same sex SIM couples to get have children (either one gets preggers or even both if you'd want), of course you'd also need male preggers morphs for your preggy dads, but do not fret there are also meshes for those. Why, because it let's you do fun things the vanilla game can't. What are your favorites and any mods you can recommend to everyone.Įveryone, and I mean everyone absolutely needs "nRaas Master Controller".
